He has successfully led three other companies as CEO, including scaling Canada's largest crypto trading platform and facilitating the sale of Bitbuy to WonderFi. As CEO, he also turned around a distressed industrial business and secured international funding for an oil & gas asset. Michael holds a CFA designation and an MBA from Rotman School of Management and is focused on scaling MooMoo Financial in Canada.
Luka Marjanovic is the Managing Director and Head of Investor's Edge at CIBC Capital Markets since March 2024. With over 15 years at CIBC, he has held key roles, including Executive Director of Prime Brokerage and Executive Director of Strategy. His trading expertise was developed as Senior Manager of Trading at the Toronto Stock Exchange. Luka also worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Bank of Montreal and holds an HBA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
